I was on the 25th floor with no smoking smell, offering terrific views down the peninsula and rivers, and enjoyed a beautiful river view. The hotel’s location is at the tipping point of an island surrounded by ShangSha, DiHai, and XiChiang, inside a sprawling riverside property near the center of town, making it convenient for visiting family or exploring Kaiping. The dining experience was more of a local style, but the rooms were comfortable, and the staff, although English was not as good as expected, was happy and helpful through various services like room service, car hire, and tours and ticket assistance.
